Job Title: IT Project Manager / Project Lead
Location: Columbia SC -Hybrid (3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Project Lead to oversee multiple IT projects within a healthcare-focused environment. This role requires strong leadership organizational and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery stakeholder alignment and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and developing business requirements.
- Create comprehensive project plans and manage execution.
- Identify assess and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and with high quality.
- Provide regular status reporting both written and verbal to stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams management and external vendors to support project execution.
- Maintain and manage project documentation metrics and reporting.
- Support portfolio/program planning activities and related deliverables.
- Perform other project-related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in technical business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance IT environments.
- Experience in project planning including effort estimation and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting to leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with tools such as:
- SharePoint
- MS Project
- Visio
- PowerPoint Word Excel Access
- Familiarity with risk management practices including identifying triggers and mitigation strategies.
- Experience creating and maintaining project management artifacts and documentation.
