Key Position Details:
As an adult psychiatrist at an Allina Mental Health Hospital Based Clinics (HBCs) you will provide services for individuals experiencing complex mental health care needs. Your team is closely aligned with Allina hospitals andfacilitatesreferrals from the emergency departments and hospital discharges. You will also receive referrals and coordinate care with Allina primary care providers.The HBCs are also home tonumerousmental health specialties.

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of patients.
Engages the patient and family to develop treatment plans that address identified goals.
Develops and leads staff education in psychiatric issues.
May participate in on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- MD DO or foreign equivalency training required
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
- Active non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges if applicable
- Completion of addiction fellowship or ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) certification

Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy) Up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $340025 to $351000 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to your experience education and the union agreement (if applicable).Benefit Summary
