Job Summary

ESCO a division of Eurpac Service Inc. has over 60 years of proven success representing consumer package goods (CPG) within the complex Military Resale Channel. Miramar California Area Manager (AM) will determine which responsibilities by facility the Base Manager is to be focused on. Base Manager responsibilities can include any of the following.

Shelf Merchandiser

This position requires the tasks to be performed as outlined below at a commissary store in a retail environment.

Replenish shelves end caps and displays with products daily
Straighten merchandise to give a neat full appearance
Rotate products on the shelves LIFO
Move product from the warehouse to the sales floor
Dispose of all packaging and boxes for our brands
Consolidate and organize pallets in warehouse
Check for and remove expired product from shelves
Maintain a clean work area in warehouse
Observe companys safety rules and guidelines
Know company brands and its products
Perform other tasks as assigned

The shelf merchandiser position is a physically demanding position. While preforming the duties of this job one is regularly required to spend a significant amount of time at work standing walking lifting heavy objects.

In addition it requires one to do a great deal of stretching and bending often in awkward positions and require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Generally works indoors in a typical grocery store environment. Is exposed to drafts heat (e.g. combination controlled temperatures/climates and weather conditions. Walk in freezers and chilled areas) noise and dust.

Schedule:

Night Shift Weekends and Holidays

Pay rate is $18-$20 and 18 hrs. per week.
