Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment at a tertiary care hospital. The position involves providing high-quality radiographic imaging services to patients in a fast-paced dynamic healthcare environment. As an X-Ray Tech you will work the evening shift assisting with a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging on patients of all ages
- Ensure proper positioning and technique for high-quality imaging
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Work collaboratively with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Handle patient data and imaging results accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to hospital protocols and infection control standards
- Provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Tech
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Must have a valid license upon start date
- Willingness to work weekend call (1-2 weekends per month)
- Ability to flex agency shifts up to 3 times during the contract period
