Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating care for adult patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately
Maintain and update patient medical records
Review and document diagnostic test results
Educate patients and families on medications treatments and discharge instructions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Ensure adherence to safety infection control and hospital policies
Required Qualifications:
Active Florida RN license or compact license (FL license required within 90 days)
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
Acute care experience required (recent LTAC-only experience not accepted)
BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start or within 30 days
