SUMMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with other departments subject matter expertstechnicians and vendors to obtain pertinent information tocomplete design and engineering tasks for proposedprojects in business org.
Completes engineering calculations and tasks such ashydraulics pipe stress analysis HEC-RAS modeling rip-rapsizing HDD design containment design and calculationstraffic control plans and structural design or ETAP analysis.
Develops supporting design packages for mechanicalstructural civil or electrical portions of projects.
Works closely with project leaders subject matter expertscontractors and business org operations personnel to complete as builts for mechanical civil and electrical work completed atbusiness org facilities in order to maintain core drawings.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of companystandards code requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborates with specialists and subject matter experts tocreate standard drawings and specifications for typicalsystems.
Proactively manages multiple concurrent projects whileensuring deadlines are met.
Identifies and leads group continuous improvementinitiatives.
Works closely with project leaders to complete the systemanalysis and design based on company specifications andcode requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in mechanical civil chemical or electrical Engineering or other related degree from an ABET accredited institution required.
Zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Valid Drivers License.
