The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will oversee and coordinate cross-functional programs supporting Trojan Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) operations and regulatory compliance. The TPM manages programs assigned to subject-matter experts (SMEs) and project managers (PMs) aligns their work to collective goals and ensures timely on-budget delivery of projects spanning construction transmission & distribution (T&D) licensing process improvement and security hardware/software. The TPM partners closely with the Controls Analyst to forecast budgets and resource needs and ensures all activities meet applicable regulatory requirements cost schedule and scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning execution and integration of multiple concurrent programs driven by SMEs and PMs to achieve strategic objectives.
- Assign prioritize and monitor program-level tasks; remove impediments and escalate risks to leadership.
- Work with the Controls Analyst to develop and maintain accurate budget forecasts resource plans and schedule baselines; track variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure program deliverables meet regulatory safety and security requirements applicable to spent fuel storage and ISFSI operations.
- Manage stakeholder engagement: coordinate between engineering operations licensing security procurement contractors and external regulators.
- Oversee scope schedule cost quality and change control processes for assigned programs; maintain program documentation and reporting.
- Conduct risk assessments prepare mitigation plans and lead issue resolution across programs.
- Support preparation for regulatory inspections audits and license amendments; provide required program documentation and evidence.
- Mentor and coordinate SMEs/PMs to build consistent program management practices and metrics.
Education/Experience/Certifications
Education
- Requires a bachelors degree in engineering computer science business communications or fire science from an ABET-accredited engineering program or program accredited by an equivalent agency in a related field or other related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Typically 5 years of progressive program/project management experience in heavy industry energy nuclear regulated infrastructure environment or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs involving construction T&D licensing and security systems.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets resource forecasts and program schedules
Certifications Licenses and Training
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
