PickerPacker Warehouse

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Picker/Packer for a clients team onsite in Red Wing MN (55066). This role is an entry-level warehouse role responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory (picking) and securely packaging them (packing) for customer shipment. Key duties include scanning items inspecting for damage labeling and maintaining a clean workspace to meet efficiency goals. This role is contracted and expected to last 30-120 days in length but could go permanent for the right candidate.

Salary: $23.50/hour.

Schedule: Mon - Thurs 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Fri 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM. (There will be a shuttle to take you to the warehouse each morning 5:55AM no exceptions!)

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Create and Post cycle counts investigate inventory variances and ensure accurate accounting across controls.
• Assist in the management of the Finished Goods inventory control including but not limited to weekly cycle counting.
• Monitor inventory movements analyze accuracy metrics and recommend system/process improvements.
• Point person for Cycle counts and all Inventory Adjustments and requests including Root Cause investigations of variances at assigned sites.
• Point Person for New Style bins that need to be created in Infor.
• Maintain internal controls and optimize transaction codes in Infor for efficiency.
• Measure performance of Inventory accuracy and underlying causes of errors.
• Audit receiving/shipping processes and ensure compliance with documented procedures.
• Support PO and Receipt variance analysis and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Participate in LEAN initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and material flow.
• Uphold quality standards company values and policy compliance.
• Continuously develop technical skills and complete other duties as assigned.
• Replenishment of Inventory for Customer Orders and Picking Bins.
• Perform and provide oversight for safe and efficient unloading staging receiving picking packing and staging of products from the Salt Lake Warehouse to meet the delivery expectations of our customers.
• Work with Warehouse Supervisor Supply Chain Inventory Control Manager and all Warehouse Employees to ensure customer and shipping requirements and expectations are met.
• Ensure effectiveness of the Warehouse staff through effective communications coordination of resources training monitoring/reporting performance and role modeling RWSC values.

• Maintain quality service by establishing following and enforcing organization quality system standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Continue to develop technical knowledge by attending educational workshops classes or programs.
• Conduct self-according to RWSC policies/Handbook.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1 years experience working in a warehouse environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel Infor and Factory Track is preferred) or (Knowledge of Excel ERP and Scanning systems is preferred).

• Strong attention to detail organization and multitasking skills
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience
• Post-secondary education in business supply chain management or related field.
• Warehouse management systems experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
