TITLE: Project Engineer Sr - Systems
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts across different engineering disciplines. Responsible for making critical decisions that have a large impact on projects and engineering initiatives. Participate in engineering activities to ensure successful product development timely execution of programs and total customer satisfaction. Work with multiple engineering disciplines and product development teams ensuring the logical creation and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions with a focus on future technology and integrated systems. Areas include: electro-hydraulic control systems hybrid and electric vehicles autonomous vehicle systems advanced suspension systems connected vehicle systems material handling systems and other auxiliary systems and technology for on road and off-road vehicle applications. Establish system architecture perform system trades and analysis flow down the architecture concept of operations (CONOPS) into requirements and interfaces and support verification and validation planning and Execution. Remote Work permitted. Position requires 25% domestic travel.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week Monday through Friday
SALARY: $147634.99 - $173900.00 per year
LOCATION: Oshkosh Defense LLC 1917 Four Wheel Drive Oshkosh WI 54902 and Oshkosh Defense LLC 55353 Lyon Industrial Drive New Hudson MI 48165.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (for foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering Automobile Engineering or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience as a Senior Engineer Specialist Product Assurance Engineer or related role where experience was gained.
Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:
- Automotive field.
- 3 years with tools such as Vector CANalyzer CANoe PEAK PCAN or Kvaser CANKing to diagnose and troubleshoot.
- 5 years developing automotive diagnostic tools using large OEM process and procedures.
- 3 years leading cross-functional teams gathering stakeholder input performing project planning and regularly reporting progress to leadership.
- 3 years in requirements management tools for systems engineering such as DOORS Integrity/Codebeamer or Jama; and
- CAN UDS KWP2000 K-line and L-line (LIN) communication and protocols including flash sequence definition and troubleshooting and routine sequence definition and troubleshooting for multiple electronic control modules.
