Job Summary

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director of Product Managementin Researchto own and lead our GenAI ImagingModelsroadmap.Youare someone who ispassionate aboutphotography andis keenly aware of creator workflowsand what they demandofGenAI imaging models.Youalso have a strong understandingongenerative AI technologies and where they are heading.Youwill work closely with our ResearchApplied Scienceand Appteams todevelop aboldvisionguideourstrategyand executeon a roadmap.You will exercise strong judgment on when to build ourown models(Firefly) versus partner withthird-partymodels and harness the twocomplimentarilyto power ourcreatorsworkflows.

This role requires an accomplishedproduct management leader with a proventrack recordin building generative AI capabilities or products for creatives. Additionallyyou arean experiencedpeople manager who leads with empathy andhas a strong compass for hiringgrowingand developing talent.

Whatyoulldo:

  • Define a vision while driving roadmap definition and prioritizations

  • Engage with users to develop a strong point of view on the problems and translate them into clear prioritized opportunities for the business

  • Identifytrends in research and AI that will lead to unlocks for users and the business

  • Document detailed requirements including functional specificationsanalytics and workflows for the engineering team

  • Define andmonitorkey performance indicators to evaluate success using data toidentifynew opportunities

  • Understand the competitive landscape andwherewe have opportunities to differentiate

Whatyoullneed to succeed:

  • BachelorsorMastersin computer scienceorengineering or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience (8 years)in productmanagement

  • Prior experience in the generative AI space with building products

  • Passionandunderstandingof creators and their workflows

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements

  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills across functional and organizational boundaries

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively

  • Passion for crafting outstanding partner experiences and driving business growth through strategic integrations

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with generative AI

  • Experience building tools for creatives and designers

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $$334500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California the pay range for this position is $231000 - $334500 In Washington the pay range for this position is $211000 - $305500

At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
