Role Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Surgical/Perioperative services including robotics and specialty procedures.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include patient assessment assisting in procedures patient education and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a surgical/perioperative setting
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Assist physicians during surgical and robotic procedures
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care and education
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols safety standards and policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

• Experience in the following surgical areas:
  • General Surgery
  • GYN
  • ENT
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Vascular Procedures
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Robotics (including Mako Robotics)
  • Total Joint Replacement procedures

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in:
  • Neuro Spine Surgery
  • Pediatrics

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Experience Requirements

• 5 years of relevant perioperative or surgical nursing experience
