Director of Finance Corporate Controller

Position Summary

GC2IT is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Finance / Corporate Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role is responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting financial reporting and budgeting functions while ensuring compliance with GAAP FAR and government contracting requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Deltek Costpoint strong knowledge of government contracting and the ability to serve as a strategic partner to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all core accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll billing and project accounting
• Oversee the monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with FAR and GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Manage the companys budgeting and forecasting processes including variance analysis and financial reporting to leadership
• Ensure compliance with FAR DCAA and other government contracting regulations
• Develop monitor and analyze indirect rates (G&A fringe overhead)
• Support DCAA audits incurred cost submissions and provisional billing rate proposals
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Deltek Costpoint and drive system optimization and process improvements
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready financial processes
• Provide CFO with financial insights strategic analysis and decision support
• Lead mentor and develop the finance and accounting team

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance and/or Accounting (required)
• Masters degree in finance Business Administration (MBA) or related field (required)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or accounting
• Significant experience in a government contracting environment strongly preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in Deltek Costpoint (required)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP FAR and DCAA compliance requirements
• Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting operations and financial reporting
