DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director Education Systems; this Hybrid positionwill be in Raynham MA (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations may be considered at Raritan NJ (USA) West Chester PA (USA) Warsaw IN (USA) or Palm Beach Gardens FL (USA).
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingasDePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview:
The Director Education Systems is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategy governance and continuous improvement of global education and learning technology platforms supporting DePuy Synthesand reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. This role ensures that education systems effectively enable professional education professional relations/operations commercialeducation andreadiness and internal capability development while meeting compliance data integrity and scalability requirements. The role has significant impact on how education is delivered globally enabling consistenthighqualityprofessional and commerciallearning experiences for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders as well as how we manage our relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for global education systems including learning management and related digitalexperience andlearning platformsand professional relations/operations ensuring alignment with business commercial and professionaloperationalneeds.
Define and execute the longterm roadmap for education systems balancing innovation user experience scalability and regulatory requirements.
Leadcrossfunctionalcollaboration with IT Professional Education Commercial Compliance PrivacyLegaland Quality partners to ensure system effectiveness and adherence to internal and external standards.
Oversee vendor relationships system integrations and platform performance including contract management service levels and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish governance policies and best practices for education systemseducationdigital content strategy and managementdatamanagement and reporting to ensure consistency and data integrity across regions.
Drive analytics and insights from education systems to inform leadership decisions andoptimizeeducation effectiveness and learner engagement.
Lead develop and coach a team of managers and senior professionals fostering a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets resource planning and prioritization of initiatives to ensure efficient and effective delivery of education systems capabilities.
Lead the application of AI advanced analytics and automation to modernize commercial platforms enhancing customer engagement pricing and revenue optimization anddatadrivendecisionmakingwhile driving scalable and compliant commercial execution across sales marketing and customer operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree(e.g.Business Information Systems Engineering or related field).
Masters degree preferred (e.g. MBA Education Technology or related discipline).
Experience and Skills:
10-12 years ofexperience leading enterprise education learning management or digital learning systems in a globalcommercialorganization.
Proven peopleleadership experience including managing managers and senior professionals.
Strong background in system strategy governance andcrossfunctionalstakeholder managementand execution
Demonstrated ability to partner with IT and external vendors to deliver complex integrated platforms.
Experienceoperatingin regulated environments with attention to compliance data privacy and quality standards.
Strong analytical communication and changemanagement skills.
Preferred
Experience in medicaldevice healthcare life sciences or similarly regulated industries.
Experience supporting professional education and/or commercial learningprograms atscale.
Familiarity with global learning analyticsreporting andeducation technology innovationand tech stacks
Experience leading global or regional transformations of learning platforms.
Experience with CRM technologies includingto manage relationships and actions with key opinion leaders
Experience with education operations and event planning systems to ensure successfulexperiencesfor our customers and professionals.
Other:
Language Requirements: English;additionallanguages preferred.
Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international.
Certifications:SFDCEducation technology or learning systems certifications preferred but not.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
