Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting fora(n)Director Solution Architect Commercial; this Hybrid positionwill be in Raynham MA (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations may be considered at Raritan NJ (USA) West Chester PA (USA) Warsaw IN (USA) or Palm Beach Gardens FL (USA).

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingasDePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview:

This role provides enterpriselevel solution architecture leadership for commercial platforms and digital capabilities that enable sales marketing customer engagement and analytics across DePuy Synthesand reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. The Director Solution ArchitectCommercialpartners closely with Commercial IT and external partners to design scalable secure and interoperable solutions that directly support revenue growth and customer experience. This is an opportunity to shape the future commercial technology landscape of a leading orthopedics organization while influencing enterprisewide architecture standards and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and evolution of endtoend solution architectures supporting commercial technology platforms including CRM customer engagement digitalexperience platformsmarketingautomation and analytics solutions.

  • Serve as a senior technical authority for solution design ensuring compatibility interoperability stability and usability across multiple systems and platforms.

  • Translate commercial business strategies and requirements into scalable secure and compliantarchitectureblueprints aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Adviseseniorleadership onopportunities to improve commercial technology capabilities through modernization integration and adoption of emerging technologies.

  • Drive architectural governance by defining and enforcing architecture principles design patterns and best practices across commercial initiatives.

  • Lead and influence crossfunctional teams through matrix leadership mentoringarchitectsand engineers to build depth of architectural capability.

  • Evaluate solution optionstradeoffs risks and costs to recommendoptimaldesigns that balance business value performance and longterm sustainability.

  • Develop and publish architectural documentation technical reports and design artifacts for internal stakeholders.

  • Embed Johnson & Johnsons Credo and Leadership Imperatives into architectural decisions and ways of working.

  • Lead the application of AI advanced analytics and automation to modernize commercial platforms enhancing customer engagement pricing and revenue optimization anddatadrivendecisionmakingwhile driving scalable and compliant commercial execution across sales marketing and customer operations.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Systems Engineering ora relatedfield.

  • Masters degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science Information Systems or MBA with technology focus).

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 1012 years of experience in solution architecture enterprise architecture or largescale systems design.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex multisystem technology solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.

  • Strong background in commercial technology platforms (e.g. CRM digitalexperience platformsmarketing automationcustomerengagement data and analytics integrations).

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into technical architecture.

  • Broad and deep technical knowledge acrossapplication integration data and infrastructure architectures.

  • Experience providing functional or matrix leadership mentoring senior technical talent.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting global commercial organizations within healthcare medical devices or life sciences.

  • Handson experience with cloudbased architectures APIled integration and modern digital platforms.

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and formal design methodologies.

  • Experience driving technology innovation aligned to commercial growthobjectives.

  • Strong executive communication and technical storytelling skills.

Other:

  • Language: English (required).

  • Travel: Up to 1020% primarily domestic with limited international travel as needed.

  • Certifications: Architecture or cloud certifications (e.g. TOGAF AWS Azure) preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150000.00 - $258750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year

Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off 80 hours per calendar year
