Job Description Summary

The Sr Manager for LOCA and Containment Analysis (LCA) will work within the Fuels and Digital Engineering team of Global Nuclear Fuel Americas (GNF). The LCA team is responsible for engineers performing Design Basis Accident (DBA) analyses (ECCS LOCA for fuel integrity containment loads and system response) reactor internal loads (DP acoustic load fuel assembly hydraulic force) annulus pressurization loads HELB among other events.

Essential Responsibilities:

• The manager of LOCA and Containment team will demonstrate accountability for functional business and broad company objectives
• Support the development of technical talent and depth within the team
• Provide leadership resources and training needed to assure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines
• Support the development maintenance and control of the licensing and design bases and improvement of analysis processes (including procedures)
• Interface with project management and direct resources to execute to defined project work schedules and priorities
• Monitor and enforce compliance with policies and procedures
• Interface with internal customers external customers and the NRC on technical issues.
• Act as a leader in company / business initiatives.
• Support GVH quality requirements including participation in design reviews initiating and responding to Condition Reports identifying and providing needed training and mentoring and maintaining adequate levels of qualified personnel

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear Mechanical Chemical or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology or engineering role within the nuclear industry
• Operating at a senior/leadership level within the organization

Eligibility Requirements:

• The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington NC or Atlanta GA but qualified remote candidates will be considered.
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Additional Information

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $134400.00 and $257600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
