About the Role
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Technician to join our client locations in Manitoba Ontario BC Quebec. If you have a passion for heavy machinery trucks and agricultural equipment and take pride in keeping equipment running at its best this is the role for you. Youll be a key part of a supportive team environment with stable year-round work and no seasonal layoffs.
What Youll Be Doing
- Inspect diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy and agricultural equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes filter replacements and lubrication services
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical system issues
- Disassemble repair and reassemble heavy equipment components
- Conduct post-repair testing to verify equipment is operating safely and to specification
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment appropriate for heavy machinery service
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience preferably in a dealership or agricultural equipment setting
- Red Seal certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (required)
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with agricultural and/or industrial heavy equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as required
- Class 5 Drivers Licence (required)
