About this role
Viessmann is looking for an Electronic Assembler in Waterloo (onsite) who can assemble various electronic products daily and maintaining quality and comply with all regulatory compliance and guidelines. This is a 1st shift role.
This is a current vacancy for which Carrier/Viessmann is currently hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Build electrical production items from schematics & drawings use best practices for efficiencies accuracy and complete in a timely manner
- Prepare wire harnesses and cables for production
- Work close with the production team
- Use quality assurance guidelines to perform spot-checks and panel testing
- Monitor continually the inventory levels and report shortages to purchasing department
- Stay compliant & adhere to health and safety requirements and regulations and maintain a clean/tidy workspace
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 plus years of experience in building control panels or electronic assembling of products
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical Technician Diploma or equivalent discipline
- Read electrical schematics and drawings and apply to equipment assembly
- Operate necessary hand and power tools
- Self motivated
- Work independently and in a team in a collaborative cross functional set up
- Verbal and written English communication skills
- Attention to details aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience in inventory management
- Analytical thinking focused and reliable in handling assigned tasks
- Organizational skills with demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to projects
Additional information
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.

The expected hourly salary range for this role is between $15.00and $30.00. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicants geographic location market data/range skills prior relevant experience job-related knowledge specific degrees and certifications and/or other relevant considerations.
This compensation includes components such as base salary vacation pay public holiday pay potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care vision dental disability etc. as well as possible RRSP matching.
Other Compensation
This rolemayalso provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus sales bonus sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation it will be based on measurable performance factors which may includecompany performance individual performance or other key performance indicators.
