As a Security Officer Entry Control in Riverview FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This role combines strong communication customer service and attention to detail with a caring team-oriented culture built on agility reliability innovation and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials manage visitor access and document deliveries contractors and/or guests in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including perimeter areas and restricted access points while observing for unusual activity and/or potential hazards common to an industrial environment.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel by maintaining accurate logs completing required reports and communicating clearly with employees visitors and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
