Job Summary
An Automotive Dealership Facilities Maintenance Personnel ensures the showroom service bays and grounds are safe functional and clean. Key duties include performing minor repairs (HVAC plumbing electrical) conducting preventive maintenance on equipment like air compressors and lifts managing lighting handling painting/drywall and maintaining exterior curb appeal.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of building systems including HVAC electrical systems and plumbing to prevent failures.
- General Repairs: Perform repairs on doors lighting (interior/exterior) plumbing fixtures drywall flooring and paint.
- Service Shop Support: Maintain shop equipment such as air compressors overhead doors and vehicle lifts.
- Grounds & Safety: Maintain parking areas signage and landscaping including snow/ice removal if necessary.
- Vendor Management: Supervise external contractors for specialized work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance or a trade.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods lift heavy objects and work in varied weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to work with dealership managers staff and contractors.
