We are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Subject Lead of Geography to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Geography specialist with strong subject and curriculum knowledge to lead and develop the subject inspire students and make a significant impact within a supportive and ambitious school.
You will join a highly collaborative department committed to delivering engaging high-quality lessons and ensuring that all students develop strong subject understanding. Geography is a wellestablished and popular subject at the school with a department committed to refining the curriculum and sharing effective teaching practices to support student progress.
The successful candidate will lead the planning and delivery of highquality Geography teaching oversee assessment and progress tracking and ensure all students are supported to achieve their full potential. Working closely with colleagues you will contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Geography curriculum and help foster a culture of curiosity and high expectations.
We are looking for someone who can engage learners of all abilities and bring enthusiasm and energy to the classroom and subject team. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities fieldwork and geographyrelated initiatives.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will demonstrate a clear commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. You will be joining a school with a strong culture of collaboration coaching and professional development where staff are supported to develop their practice to the highest level.
