Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operations on an assigned shift. This role is critical to maintaining a safe productive and accountable work environment while ensuring daily production goals are met.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is visible engaged with their team and focused on developing people while driving performance. Success in this position requires ownership urgency sound decision-making and the ability to hold people accountable while building a positive and high-performing team culture.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and support a team of production associates to meet daily safety quality and production targets
  • Assign work monitor progress and adjust priorities to keep operations on track
  • Maintain a consistent presence on the production floor and actively engage with employees throughout the shift
  • Provide strong mentorship coaching and development to team members to build capability and bench strength
  • Address performance and attendance issues promptly and consistently
  • Ensure adherence to standard work safety policies and quality requirements
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality (QC) Maintenance and other departments as needed
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles including waste reduction 5S and process discipline
  • Utilize ERP systems for production tracking labor reporting and inventory accuracy
  • Support and operate within established expense budgets by managing labor efficiency reducing waste and controlling consumable usage

What Were Looking For

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with a focus on team development and accountability
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
  • Experience using ERP systems in a production environment
  • Understanding of cost drivers within manufacturing operations (labor scrap downtime materials)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accountabilityfor yourself and your team
  • Basic computer skills (timekeeping production tracking etc.)
