Job Summary
Overview
Consider joining the Pennex family as a Senior Training Coordinator in our Leetonia OH location. This position identifies training needs and gaps within the organization. The Senior Training Coordinator develops training processes and procedures to address needs. This position coordinates facilitates and delivers timely operations training as well as onboarding of new hires.
Responsibilities
- Onboards and trains new hires including but not limited to creating training schedules
- Partners with operations managers and supervisors to develop and validate training material.
- Creates training curriculum and facilitates training sessions both on the plant floor and in a classroom setting
- Analyzes training progress and suggests additional training programs and needs
- Builds rapport with employees and works closely with them on their training needs
- Works directly with supervisors to ensure training needs and expectations and evaluate effectiveness.
- Maintains Training methodology to maintain accurate training records
- Modifies and formats documentation as needed.
- Maintains documentation in QMS system. Processes work instructions and other documentation through QMS Change Control process.
- Distributes change notices to personnel.
- Maintains retention and disposition of historical documents.
- This position will primarily work on 1st shift but will need to flex to other shifts to meet the needs of all crews.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in a related field from a college or university
- Five to seven years of relevant experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to create training plans.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers.
- Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures or rulers. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States visa sponsorships are not available
