Job Summary
Primary Purpose:Install test and maintain the districts network hardware personal computers software and related equipment. Diagnose and resolve network :Education/Certification:Bachelors degree in computer science or management information systems or equivalent experience in network administrationNovell Certified Network Engineer (CNE) (preferred but not required)Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) (preferred but not required)Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (preferred but not required)Special Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of LAN and WAN network design and installationKnowledge of network hardware and software applications including network servers printers and other equipmentAbility to work with multiple operating systems and network protocolsAbility to analyze and resolve computer network problemsStrong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
