Principal Product Manager, Technical, Device Sales and Customer Experience

Job Summary
This Principal PM-T will define the product roadmap collaborate with a dedicated tech team and work cross functionally with business teams and partners on emerging technological capabilities.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at working with engineering teams at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love.
Key job responsibilities
-Define a world-class online customer experience for Amazon devices and all the complements that drive a magically connected experience; write working backwards docs to succinctly capture the envisioned customer benefit and functional requirements. Lead discussion and thinking with the highest-level stakeholders to push into testing new ideas. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
-Dive deep on emerging technologies becoming the subject matter expert on relevant capabilities and application to Devices use cases.
-Provide thought leadership across engineering UX design marketing data science legal and finance teams.
-Lead cross-functional teams through complex decisions where data is limited.
-Pilot experiences; collect and report on data; iterate on the path towards full scale roll-out. Globalize proven features.
-Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other markets.
-Influence senior leaders across matrixed organizations.
- 10 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
