What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position ofClassroom Teacher (Year 1) to join the staff of St Peters Catholic Primary School Rockhampton. This is a part-time contract position to commence 13 July 2026 until 18 January 2026. This role is 15 hours per week / 5 days per fortnight (Monday Tuesday & alternate Wednesdays).

- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
- Appropriate qualities knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
