Blending adult-led activities with child-initiated play to create a rich balanced environment where curiosity is encouraged and every child feels at home.
They are now looking for a warm and experienced Room Leader to take the lead in their Babies and Young Toddler Room - someone who understands the unique needs of this precious age group and has the passion and skill to create a nurturing stimulating space where little ones feel truly safe and settled.
What Our Client Is Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential
Previous Room Leader or Senior Practitioner experience within a nursery setting
A deep understanding of EYFS and the specific developmental needs of the youngest children
Naturally warm patient and nurturing with a genuine love for this age group
Reliable enthusiastic and a strong team player

Key Responsibilities
Leading the day-to-day running of the Babies and Young Toddler Room with warmth consistency and confidence
Planning and delivering rich age-appropriate activities that blend adult-led learning with child-initiated play
Supporting the emotional security and development of babies and young toddlers through strong key person relationships
Observing and documenting childrens learning and development sharing progress meaningfully with families
Mentoring and supporting room-based staff acting as a positive and consistent role model
Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the settings high standards of practice
