POSITION OVERVIEW
As Regional Director for the Willamette Valley you will lead the operational financial and strategic performance of Praxis Health clinics in Eugene Salem and surrounding markets. This is a growth-oriented role for a leader who wants to build not just manage.
You will serve as a key member of the regional leadership team partnering closely with physicians clinic directors and the broader Praxis Health leadership team to deliver exceptional patient care and sustainable clinic performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations and Performance
- Own regional profit and loss with accountability for sustainable growth and cost management
- Translate organizational strategy into market-specific goals and operational plans
- Develop and refine clinic operating models that support quality efficiency and access
- Use data operational dashboards and available analytics tools to identify trends and drive decisions
People and Culture
- Directly manage clinic directors and supervisors; model the leadership behavior you expect
- Partner closely with physicians and advanced practice providers as a trusted operational peer
- Lead talent acquisition for clinical and support roles across the region
- Build team environments where people do their best work and patients feel it
Strategy and Growth
- Identify access gaps and growth opportunities across the Willamette Valley
- Recruit and attract providers in employment partnership or management arrangements
- Monitor the regional healthcare environment and develop adaptive strategies
- Represent Praxis Health with local and state agencies that affect our market position
- Support CEO-directed strategic initiatives and help develop long-range regional plans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in health administration business administration or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of leadership experience in a primary care multispecialty ambulatory care or comparable healthcare operations setting
- Demonstrated experience managing teams across multiple sites or departments
- Proven track record of physician partnership and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in financial management: budgeting P&L analysis and cost strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with value-based care or population health models
- Background in multi-market healthcare leadership
- Familiarity with predictive analytics or operational performance tools
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong operational instincts with the ability to move from strategy to execution
- Excellent communication skills across providers staff leadership and community partners
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into operational decisions
- Comfort with ambiguity; steady and effective under pressure
- Entrepreneurial mindset eager to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- High degree of initiative discretion and independent judgment

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily office and clinic-based work environment
- Regular travel within Willamette Valley clinic locations; occasional travel to broader Praxis Health locations
- Prolonged periods of working at a computer
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Ability to navigate clinic environments including standing and walking for extended periods
