Special Requirements:Must be available for after-hours weekend and emergency response; must be 21 years of age or older; ability to regularly travel to all agency sites when appropriate; must complete and maintain the required registry clearance and criminal fingerprint background checks; maintain First aid & CPR certification; must have a valid drivers license and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
Facilities & Maintenance Operations
Oversee all agency facilities grounds and physical plant operations
Ensure all environments are safe clean functional and compliant
Maintain systems for routine and preventative maintenance
Staff Leadership & Accountability
Supervise and support maintenance team members and site leads
Establish clear expectations accountability and performance standards
Coordinate workload across all locations
Communication Documentation & Follow-Up
Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership and program staff
Ensure timely follow-up on maintenance requests and projects
Maintain organized documentation notes and tracking systems
Provide regular updates to the Chief Executive Officer
Technology & Systems Management
Utilize software systems to track work orders maintenance requests and project progress
Maintain accurate digital records for facilities and fleet operations
Use data to improve efficiency response times and accountability
Preventative Maintenance Systems
Develop and enforce preventative maintenance schedules
Proactively identify and resolve facility issues before escalation
Project & Capital Improvement Management
Plan and oversee facility and capital improvement projects
Coordinate contractors vendors and internal teams
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Fleet Operations
Oversee agency vehicle fleet management
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained inspected and compliant
Budget & Resource Management
Develop and manage facility and fleet budgets
Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective decision-making
Determine when work should be completed internally vs. contracted externally
Safety & Compliance Partnership
Partner with the Chief Safety Security & Risk Officer to ensure timely correction of identified safety risks
Support compliance with safety and emergency preparedness standards
Emergency Response & On-Call Support
Serve as on-call supportfor facility and fleet emergencies
Respond to issues impacting safety operations or service delivery
