Quality Technician Day Shift

We are seeking a Quality Tech to join our day shift team at our DuBois PA this role you will play a key part in ensuring that quality standards and initiatives are consistently achieved within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The shift schedule follows a Monday - Friday schedule with hours from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams

• Develop and maintain inspection reports

• Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data

• Perform product audits

• Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes

• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns

• Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives

• Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Quality ASQ certification a plus

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment

• Can work independently with minimal supervision and be able to follow written directions

• Works well with others in a team environment

• Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises changing temperatures machinery with moving parts and various materials.

• Climate controlled workspace majority of the time with occasional work within manufacturing climate changes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated pay range for this position is $18.50-23.50 per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors including skills experience and work location.
