About the role

As Key Account Manager (m/w/d) you support the National Account Manager to orchestrate all activities across departments for your customers and deliver on a joint business plan for our brands and financial targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Full P&L ownership for the assigned customer(s) ensuring delivery of agreed financial and commercial targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer strategy across key business and growth pillars to achieve sales and profitability objectives
  • Prepare lead and conclude customer negotiations in alignment with defined strategies priorities and guidelines
  • Coordinate and align crossfunctional activities (e.g. Sales Marketing Supply Chain Finance) to ensure seamless customer execution
  • Own and lead the customer planning process including forecasts initiatives and joint activities
  • Ensure excellent execution of agreed plans followed by thorough postevaluation to continuously improve performance
  • Play an active role within crossfunctional customer teams contributing to the development and refinement of customer strategies

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Bachelors and Masters University Degree in Business Economics Sales or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a Sales or commercial role
  • Language skills: Fluent in German and English
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights (Power BI)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient user of MS Office with solid experience working with SAP
  • Strong negotiation skills including commercial and contractual discussions
  • Sound financial acumen with the ability to understand profitability pricing and margins
  • Advanced customer and category management skills including:
    • Assortment planning
    • Promotional planning and execution
    • Customer collaboration and joint business planning
