APP will practice full-time as a SouthPark Sleep Medicine provider

Atrium Health one of the most comprehensive public not-for-profit healthcare systems in the nation is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant for Sleep Medicine at our Atrium Health Southpark location. This position will work closely with the current Sleep Medicine physician in the practice.

This position will focus on treatment and management of sleep patients in the outpatient setting. Essential functions: obtain a medical history physical exam document findings and prepare a plan of care including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate tests/procedures. Attend participate in and contribute to group/practice meetings development of policies and procedures and quality improvement initiatives.

• Work schedule Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a masters degree or doctorate in nursing from a nationally recognized certifying body is required
• Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs is required
• 1- 2 years of APP experience preferred (Sleep Medicine experience is ideal but not required).
• North Carolina license North Carolina DEA
