Production Engineering Manager

The Boeing Company is looking for a Production Engineering First Line Leader located in Mesa AZ.

Join us and you will have the unique opportunity to provide hands-on Production Engineering support to Boeing Mesa Vertical Lift Programs such as the Apache AH-64 and AH-6 Little Bird helicopter platforms in addition to the Electrical Composites and Metallics Fabrication Centers of Excellence (CoE).

You will be working with a highly skilled team of Manufacturing Engineering Product Review Engineering Tool Engineering and Industrial Engineering personnel to develop real time solutions and innovations to complex manufacturing issues.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day oversight of production engineering (PE) activities related to the statement of work to be performed at the Mesasite

• Lead and Manage multi-disciplined Production Engineering (PE) team responsible for Manufacturing Tooling and/or Product Review Engineering deliverables

• Lead a team responsible for oversight and coordination of technical solutions processes and production issues in coordination with Operations Supplier Quality Supplier Management and Program Management

• Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. (Mesa AZ.)

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree

• 5 years experience with supportingmanufacturing programs

• 3 years experience leading teams or projects

• 5 years experience working in an engineering discipline

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in support of commercial and military customers

• Production process knowledge of Fabrication and Assembly

• Experience inProduction Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering Liaison Engineering Tool Engineering and Industrial Engineering)and processes across multiple engineering disciplines
