Senior Electrical Designer (15+ years)

We are seeking a highly skilled self-motivated Senior Electrical Designer with fifteen or more years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects in our Austin office. The successful candidate will have experience in the design and drafting of power lighting and low-voltage systems for federal/DOD commercial healthcare educational industrial multi-family and/or high-rise facilities.

Qualifications :

Requirements include:  

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related science (required)
• 15 years of design and drafting experience in related industries.
  • Graduation from a certified CAD training program at an accredited institution counts as one year of experience
• EIT Certification (Preferred)
• Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Possess advanced drafting BIM/Revit and layout skills
  • Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks
• Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT
• Performing design work without supervision
• Experienced in training entry level designers
• This position is based in the Austin TX. We are currently seeking local candidates as relocation assistance is not available.
