Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown Sydney.
At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.
Tyndale invites applications for employment as a Casual Bus Driver. You would join our close-knit team of drivers and play a key role in supporting the safe and reliable transport of students in a variety of settings.
Tyndales bus services run daily during school terms from 6:30-9:00am and 2:45-5:15pm transporting students between home and school. Our drivers also assist with excursions sporting events and other off-campus activities at various times during the day and in some vacation periods.
There is flexibility in this role allowing drivers to work as little as one shift per week or as many shifts as they are available for. With a fleet of eight buses including minibuses and larger vehicles with automatic transmissions our selection criteria include:
- Being a Christian of Reformed/Evangelical persuasion active in a church and able to wholeheartedly subscribe to Tyndales Educational Creed
- Holding a Light Rigid (LR) licence (MR or HR preferred or willingness to upgrade with our support)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment
- Experience driving a school or public transport bus (highly regarded)
- First aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
