Our Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials are received and meet established quality standards and specifications before they are released for production.
You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality reducing defects and supporting overall operational efficiency. Youll also provides operational support for sample logistics and shipment handling and other warehouse functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming materials components and products against
specifications drawings and quality standards.
Documenting inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify segregate and report non-conforming materials that do not meet specifications and perform
investigations.
Support quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions
Perform secondary verification of product labeling including part numbers lot numbers and
regulatory information
Responsible for delivering temperature sensitive material to labs support work orders and ensuring
that all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system including but not limited to Material
Issuance Transfer Orders Work Orders and Inventory Transfers.
Perform receipt of incoming materials in Oracle verifying quantities and documentation to support
accurate financial reporting and operational tracking.
Experience in fulfillment activities including delivery of temperature sensitive critical reagents to labs
Kanban of plastic supplies and completing transactions in an ERP system
Must be able to create and maintain spreadsheet on a need basis and report metrics to supervisor.
Assisting with scanning sorting and loading of incoming FedEx packages to ensure timely and
compliant delivery and chain of custody.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance R/D and Supply Chain.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
High School Diploma required
California Drivers License as Required
Previous work experience in a lab preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task with flexibility based on schedules and work independently (in a team environment)
Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies.
