Job Summary

Rock House Restaurant at the Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is seeking candidates with outgoing friendly & welcoming personalities for Restaurant Server positions! Have one of the best views in Ohio while you provide welcoming & memorable dining experiences for our guests!

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is an 81-room lodge with 40 cabins a busy full-service restaurant/lounge and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. More property information is available at .

Job Summary: As a Server you will create memorable guest experiences by making great food and beverage recommendations and serving delicious items. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each others success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner
Complete knowledge of hotels food and beverage preparation menu and pricing
Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner
Clear clean and prepare tables
When serving alcoholic beverages observe guests behavior count number of drinks served and follow proper procedure if guest is impaired to drive by suggesting transportation by taxi service
Escalate guest service issues to management if you are unable to resolve
Ensure guests are satisfied during their meal service
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 6 months of full-service restaurant server experience
Experience in hospitality preferred
Possess basic math skills and cash-handling
Weekends and holidays are REQUIRED. Our business is open 7 days per week 365 days per year which requires that candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
