Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations
- Provide daily HR support to hourly and salaried employees across departments and shifts.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies procedures and employment practices.
- Maintain employee records HR documentation and confidentiality standards.
- Support payroll coordination employee transactions and HRIS updates.
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Coach supervisors and managers on attendance discipline performance management investigations documentation and conflict resolution.
- Conduct prompt fair and thorough employee relations investigations.
- Build trust and credibility through visible floor presence and responsive support.
- Support a culture of accountability communication and respect.
Recruiting & Workforce Development
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly skilled trades and salaried positions.
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and staffing priorities.
- Coordinate onboarding orientation and retention initiatives.
- Build external recruiting pipelines with schools trade programs and community partners.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Assist employees with benefits questions enrollments and life event changes.
- Support open enrollment activities and employee education.
- Coordinate leave administration including FMLA ADA workers compensation and related processes.
Continuous Improvement & Future Leadership Development
- Analyze turnover attendance hiring and retention trends.
- Recommend process improvements and practical HR solutions.
- Participate in special projects involving engagement training succession planning and workforce strategy.
- Gradually assume expanded responsibilities aligned with long-term leadership development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 57 years progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience in recruiting employee relations coaching leaders benefits administration and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships with hourly employees supervisors and leadership teams.
- Strong judgment professionalism and confidentiality.
