Position: Physical Therapist
Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with weekend rotation
Facility: 130 bed facility offering both long-term and short-term rehabilitation services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team at our 130 bed facility. As a Physical Therapist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients including evaluation treatment planning and implementation of treatment plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
- Implement treatment plans using various techniques and modalities such as therapeutic exercises manual therapy and assistive devices
- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve their mobility and function
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in regards to patient care and confidentiality
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferably in a rehabilitation facility
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and kinesiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems
