Position Overview
As the senior clinical leader within the facility the Chief Nursing Officer will work in close partnership with the CEO and Human Resources leadership to enhance both patient outcomes and employee experience. This individual will lead a highly skilled clinical team collaborate across departments including respiratory and rehabilitation services and drive operational and clinical performance.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services within the facility
Partner with executive leadership to improve employee engagement and patient satisfaction
Optimize staffing models and ratios to ensure high-quality efficient patient care
Lead and support nursing leadership in driving clinical quality and best practices
Collaborate with regional leadership on workforce initiatives including training and development programs for new graduate and returning nurses
Oversee departmental budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effective operations
Foster a culture centered on respect collaboration and professional growth
Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes operational performance and patient safety
Support interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical departments
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Masters degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (or currently enrolled) strongly preferred
Active Registered Nurse license
Minimum of 35 years of hospital-based nursing experience required
Prior leadership experience in a managerial or supervisory role preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
Preferred Background
Strong clinical foundation with experience in critical care environments
Familiarity with ventilators hemodynamics critical drips ET tubes and complex wound care
Proven ability to lead teams drive engagement and improve clinical outcomes
Collaborative leadership style with a focus on accountability and results
