Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join a high-performing team specializing in heavy-duty truck and diesel engine repair. This role involves diagnosing repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles while working in a supportive technician-focused environment.
This position offers steady first-shift hours with no nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Perform repairs according to work orders and factory standards
Diagnose mechanical electrical and drivability issues
Inspect vehicles to determine safety and repair needs
Repair and replace engines transmissions driveline and suspension components
Service braking systems (air and hydraulic)
Install major components including injectors pistons clutches differentials and more
Conduct road tests to verify repairs
Document all completed work and recommendations
Follow all safety and industry standards
Support efficiency and workflow planning in the shop
Assist in mentoring junior technicians when needed
Required Experience & Skills
5 years of diesel/heavy-duty truck repair experience
Strong knowledge of engines transmissions and drivetrain systems
Experience with diagnostics tools and computer-based troubleshooting
ASE certification preferred
608/609 certification preferred
Ability to perform heavy mechanical repairs independently
Valid drivers license with clean record
Ability to obtain CDL if required
Must have own toolset
Work Environment
First shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (or 7:30 AM 4:30 PM)
MondayFriday schedule (no weekends or nights)
