Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Kitchen Porters. The successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness assisting chefs with basic tasks and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and to the highest hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas including equipment and work surfaces.
Wash dishes utensils and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
Ensure proper storage and disposal of waste.
Support the kitchen team in keeping stock and supplies organized.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Perform other duties as directed by the Head Chef or kitchen supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not essential.
Strong work ethic and ability to handle fast-paced environments.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
Team player with a positive and reliable attitude.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is preferred.
