Why this role as a Mechanical Fitter with Kepak:

Kepak Cork are currently recruiting for an experienced trade qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter to join the Maintenance team our in a busy beef processing plant.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Maintenance team during a major period of investment and expansion at ourWatergrasshillsite. With new equipment and significant upgrades being implemented youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance specialising in the repair of industrial equipment.

Please Note: This is a shift role that covers a 24/7 production plan in a busy food and retail packing facility. Additional positions exist with fulltime flexi hours offered on a rotational morning/day shift basis candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts.

What to Expect in the Job:

• Repair of industrial production equipment such as high speed machines conveyors packaging machines gearboxes bearings and hydraulics.
• Assistthe Lead Maintenance Technician with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines in assigned area.
• Assistwith the continuous monitoring of all machinery and equipment within the plant.
• Ensurereal time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up &running within optimum time frame.
• Documentall aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informedof potential issues.
• Adhereto company safety policies at all times.

What Were Looking For:

• Experience working as a maintenance engineer within amanufacturing/industrial business preferably within the food or packagingindustries.
• ITliterate and experienced in automation
• Goodcommunication skills enthusiastic hardworking and energetic.
• Flexibilityto meet peak work demands as required
