Job Description:
The UPK Head Teacher will be responsible for managing a classroom of preschool-aged children in a UPK program. The teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans managing the classroom environment and ensuring that all children are meeting developmental milestones. The UPK Head Teacher will work closely with other teachers and staff to create a positive and engaging learning experience for all students as well as ensuring that the program is meeting all state and local regulations. The teacher will also be responsible for communicating with parents and guardians about their childs progress and any concerns that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a NYS certification experience in early childhood education and strong classroom management skills.
