Position Overview:

Position: Construction Security Guard

Wages: $20.00/hr

Status: Temporary Full Time or Part Time

Shift timings:

• Monday to Friday 7AM-3PM 3PM-11PM 11PM-7PM
• Friday and Saturday 11PM-11AM
• Saturday and Sunday 11AM-11PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics police and firefighters when required.

• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.

• Operate gates at gatehouse locations screening all visitors and construction workers.

• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

• Perform foot patrols within the construction area ensuring workers are wearing PPE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 1 years of security experience minimum within a construction environment preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• G or G2 class drivers license with your own vehicle is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a strong asset.
