We are working with an established**Food Production Company**based in**Youngstown OH.**They are recruiting for an**Maintenance Technician**to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift in return for a salary in the region of**$28 - $33 p/h**along with shift differential excellent employment benefits which include 401K Healthcare Vision and Dental.

Duties as an Maintenance Technician :

• Performed preventive maintenance on motors pneumatics conveyors and production equipment
• Troubleshot and repaired mechanical issues using manuals and technical specifications
• Identified faults through observation and precision measuring tools
• Adjusted equipment using hand tools and alignment instruments
• Reduced downtime through preventive maintenance and operator support
• Fabricated replacement parts using shop equipment
• Provided maintenance support and technical guidance to team members
• Prepared maintenance reports and tracked performance trends
• Communicated issues and updates across shifts and teams
• Maintained a safe and compliant work environment
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshot 110V 240V and 480V systems
• Supported team operations and overall production goals

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Flexible to work various shifts including weekends
• Basic math communication and ability to read manuals and safety documents
• Proficient with hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Skilled in welding brazing and shop equipment (lathes mills)
• Able to bend reach climb and work in confined spaces
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical dexterity
• Able to detect equipment issues through sight and sound
