You will be responsible for promoting a positive environment of culture communication and employee recognition.
Responsibilities
What youll do...
- Monitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the area
- Facilitate the results process through the utilization of standard processes and tools
- Develop coach and support to achieve SQDCPME objectives
- Coach teach and provide feedback on the resolution of abnormalities and validate closure of concerns (facilitates interim containment actions)
- Drive continuous improvement on systemic abnormalities to prevent recurrence
- Provide necessary resources to maintain production flow and confirm critical inputs are being performed to the acceptable standard(s)
- Plan maintenance tasks monitor completion and effectiveness and drive improvement and/or coaching opportunities
- Drive the creation and coordination of work plans (downtime shutdown and manage the change) and ensure the team is executing. Evaluate the effectiveness of work plans
- Plan and implement revisions and improvements to meet the new standards as the manufacturing operating systems mature
- Enable a culture of learning through the demonstration of effective communication skills
- Create a proactive performance-driven culture that listens reacts and supports (effective communication education listening trust) to capture the hearts and minds of the people
- Mentor nurture and develop teams to work together modeling the Ford values and expected behaviors
- Ensure basic administrative activities are completed as required
Qualifications
Youll have...
- Education: High School Diploma
- 5-8 years of production experience working in numerous departments
- 5 interfacing with plant hourly salaried personnel and plant management
- Strong ability to present continuous improvement ideas to plant management using data
- 2 years teaching an operating system and all its principles
- Experience working in a Union environment primarily interfacing with the union

- Education: Bachelors Degree:
- Broad production or machining experience
- Lead Process Coach experience
- Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability preferred
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Competent in the use of data for decision making
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems
- Work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary
- Ability to work and multi-task in fast paced environment
- Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $60.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
