Job Description:
The Field Operations QA/WriteUp Inspector supports safe compliant and efficient railcar repair operations by conducting inspections preparing accurate repair documentation and ensuring adherence to AAR/FRA regulatory standards. This role provides critical quality administrative and compliance support to mobile and minishop field operations.

This position works closely with supervisors technicians customers and vendors to ensure repair documentation accuracy regulatory compliance and timely billing.

General Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 23 years of experience in railcar repair inspection or related administrative support preferred.

• Strong knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and regulations preferred.

• Ability to read interpret and apply technical documents forms and repair procedures.

• Proficiency with computers and basic office equipment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with customers vendors supervisors and internal teams.

• Commitment to safety quality and regulatory compliance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to traverse repair shops rail yards and field service environments.

• Ability to climb ladders bend stoop kneel and work at heights during inspections.

• Ability to work in confined spaces when required.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

• Prolonged periods of desk and computer work may be required.

• Ability to work extended hours as business needs require.
