Job Description:

We are looking for a PMP Certified Healthcare Project Manager to join our team in Menands NY for a 30-month project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing software development projects within the healthcare industry with a strong focus on the software development lifecycle business process re-engineering and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• 84 months of experience as a Software Manager working on software enhancement or new application development projects coordinating with users business analysts and developers.
• 84 months of experience analyzing complex business rules workflow processes and re-engineering business processes.
• 84 months of experience leading meetings and overseeing sessions with business analysts and developers to ensure the correct functional requirements non-functional requirements and security requirements are documented.
• 84 months of experience managing the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design and development integration deployment decommissioning and documentation of complex systems and reports.
• 84 months of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation using Visio.
• 84 months of experience working with HL7 messages including ADT (Admission Discharge Transfer) and VXU (Vaccination Update) messages.
• 84 months of experience ensuring compliance with HIPAA Guidelines including data encryption and security protocols.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) Required.
• 7 years of experience in the Healthcare domain.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects within healthcare IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software projects for the healthcare sector ensuring that all stages of the software development lifecycle are followed.
• Work closely with business analysts developers and stakeholders to define and document clear project requirements including functional non-functional and security requirements.
• Oversee the analysis and re-engineering of complex business processes to ensure software applications meet business needs and regulatory compliance standards.
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation using tools like Visio to represent processes workflows and technical requirements.
• Ensure the software development team follows HIPAA compliance and implements data encryption and security measures throughout the project.
• Ensure project timelines and milestones are met and manage the resolution of any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
