Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the worlds most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa state-of-the-art fitness facilities and a collection of grand event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

What will I be doing
As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper you will play a pivotal role in supporting all Housekeeping and Laundry operations with a strong focus on service excellence operational precision and the ongoing development of the Housekeeping team to deliver a flawless guest experience.
You will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee daily operations ensure exemplary standards are consistently achieved and uphold the brands commitment to luxury cleanliness and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Supporting the oversight of all Housekeeping and Laundry operations to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintaining strict adherence to departmental budgets through effective stock control cost management and wellplanned schedules
Supporting departmental objectives performance targets budgets policies and procedures
Ensuring consistently high standards across all Housekeeping and Laundry areas in line with brand and luxury hotel standards
Conducting routine inspections of Housekeeping areas and reporting findings to the Director of Housekeeping
Implementing and monitoring all Housekeeping policies and procedures including Health & Safety and security protocols
Monitoring the presentation performance and professionalism of Housekeeping Team Members with a strong emphasis on training engagement and teamwork
Ensuring all team members maintain uptodate knowledge of room categories amenities and luxury service expectations
Assisting the Director of Housekeeping in fostering effective communication and professional relationships across all departments as well as with external partners and suppliers
Ensuring staffing levels are aligned with business demands
Supporting ongoing training initiatives and leading effective departmental communication meetings
Managing team performance matters in line with company policies and procedures
Supporting the recruitment training and development of Housekeeping Team Members
Deputising for the Director of Housekeeping in their absence ensuring continuity of service and leadership
Delivering exceptional personalised guest service at all times
Supporting other departments as operationally required
What are we looking for
An Assistant Executive Housekeeper serving Hilton brands is consistently guestfocused collaborative and dedicated to excellence. To succeed in this role you will demonstrate the following attributes skills and experience:
Proven Housekeeping or Laundry experience within the hotel leisure or retail sector in a supervisory or managerial capacity
Secondary education or equivalent qualification
Strong commercial awareness with effective costcontrol capabilities
Basic proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office
Exceptional leadership interpersonal and communication skills
A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding guest service
The ability to remain composed and effective in a fastpaced environment
Impeccable grooming and presentation standards
Flexibility to adapt to varying operational demands
A strong foundational knowledge of Workplace Health Safety and Hygiene
A passion for luxury hospitality and service excellence
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Familiar with Property Management Systems
Experience managing a department and Profit and Loss account
High level of IT proficiency
