Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Specialist Practitioner

What will your responsibilities be

In this role you will:

• As aBand 6 Paediatric OT you will work autonomously across a range of settings managing aspecialist caseload of children and young people with complex physical learning and developmental needs.
• You will deliver assessments and interventions contribute to EHCPs and MDT reviews and provide specialist advice to families schools and partner professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

• HCPCregistered Occupational Therapist
• Degree/Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy
• Experience or strong interest inpaediatric OT
• Knowledge of child development and developmental/physical disabilities
• Confident managing a caseload and working independently
• Strong report writing skills (EHCP experience desirable)
• Experience using standardised and nonstandardised assessments
• Ability to work collaboratively with families schools and MDTs
