Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join its clients Specialist Practitioner service based in Chessington London. The service is an NHSfunded Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service commissioned by Kingston CCG and delivered by the Local Authority. The team supports children and young people aged 018 with significant disabilities and complex needs working across Early Years settings mainstream schools and special schools.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will:
- As aBand 6 Paediatric OT you will work autonomously across a range of settings managing aspecialist caseload of children and young people with complex physical learning and developmental needs.
- You will deliver assessments and interventions contribute to EHCPs and MDT reviews and provide specialist advice to families schools and partner professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- HCPCregistered Occupational Therapist
- Degree/Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- Experience or strong interest inpaediatric OT
- Knowledge of child development and developmental/physical disabilities
- Confident managing a caseload and working independently
- Strong report writing skills (EHCP experience desirable)
- Experience using standardised and nonstandardised assessments
- Ability to work collaboratively with families schools and MDTs
